What you will do

• Provide technical analysis and engineering support for the assessment and development of BESS generation projects.
• Interface and collaborate with Independent System Operator (ISO) and Transmission System Operator (TSO) representatives to ensure complete system compliance.
• Develop and maintain design standards, templates, and tools for BESS Power Systems.
• Create and maintain standard equipment specifications for bulk DC/AC Power System components, including HV substations and transformers.
• Implement and model system-level positive sequence load flow models (PSLF, PSSE) for utility-scale grid interactive inverter systems.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to deliver complete and cost-effective proposals for potential projects.

Requirements

• BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering).
• 5+ years of experience in DC/AC Power Systems Design & Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge and project design experience with Power System Protection.
• Working experience with utility grid operation, load flow studies, and transmission planning.
• Knowledge of applicable local code (PEC), international codes (NEC, IEC), and NGCP, ERC, DOE standards.
• Strong technical writing skills for the development of design standards and specifications.
