Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain the general ledger in strict accordance with US GAAP to ensure financial integrity.
• Research and interpret complex accounting guidance (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842) and prepare technical memos.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Sales, and Operations to ensure accurate financial treatment of contracts and spend.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance ERP system efficiency.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statement audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or technology industries.
• Must be okay working from the Melville, NY office 5 days a week.
• Strong professional knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or active progress toward obtaining one.
• Experience in fintech or PE-backed high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and process automation tools.
• Direct experience with ASC 606 revenue or ASC 842 lease accounting.
