What you will do

• Design, build, and integrate secure backend services and APIs using Python or C#.
• Develop RESTful services with FastAPI and manage service-to-service communication via gRPC.
• Implement asynchronous workflows using messaging tools like Celery and RabbitMQ.
• Manage relational and geospatial data solutions using PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Containerize and deploy services using OpenShift or Kubernetes within GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active final DoD Secret clearance.
• At least four years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, C#, or comparable backend languages.
• Experience with API design, data flows, and automated testing.
• Ability to work in a secure software development lifecycle environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM or retrieval-augmented generation integration.
• Background in defense, mission-planning, or regulated software environments.
• Familiarity with secure container delivery and cloud-native platforms.
