TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Defense): Designing and developing complex software systems for the P-8A Aircraft Media Gateway program with an accent on network interfaces, data ingest, and infrastructure maintenance. Focus on building reliable media builds, performing hardware integration, and collaborating within an agile scrum environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This is a hybrid role requiring part-time on-site presence. US Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

What you will do

• Design and develop technically complex software systems in an agile scrum environment.
• Support the generation of reliable and reproducible media builds.
• Manage external network interfaces for data ingest and offload.
• Maintain program lab infrastructure and perform on-site hardware installations.
• Communicate technical capabilities to internal leadership and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or Master's degree.
• Must be a US Citizen to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Linux technologies and Network Engineering.
• Proficiency in Software Code Management tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Willingness to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevSecOps (Gitlab), Java, and containerization (Docker, Podman).
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of Ansible, Cisco switch configuration, and virtualization technologies.
