What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain complex ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
• Modernize legacy on-premises systems into distributed, cloud-based microservices.
• Implement security protocols, including authentication, authorization, and RBAC/ABAC frameworks.
• Drive best practices in CI/CD automation, observability, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop comprehensive documentation and provide technical mentorship to the engineering team.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracting requirements.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in at least one modern language (Go, TypeScript, or Python).
• Strong understanding of system design, API development, and relational databases.
• Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and workflow orchestration.
• Ability to thrive in an asynchronous, all-remote environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition or sustainment projects.
• Experience with Argo Workflows.
• Deep knowledge of security telemetry and policy enforcement.
