What you will do

• Maintain and optimize backend testing processes using Cohu SH5300A and FH1200 handlers.
• Improve yield, equipment reliability, and reduce defects during the testing phase.
• Monitor processes to maximize throughput and minimize equipment downtime and costs.
• Analyze root causes for test failures and yield drops using statistical data analysis.
• Collaborate with vendors and maintenance teams to troubleshoot ATE and vision systems.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process travelers, and risk assessment documentation (PFMEA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor backend manufacturing, specifically within Final Test, Tape & Reel, and strip-handling.
• Familiarity with ATE and strip handling machines.
• Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and capability studies (GR&R).
• Proficiency in data analysis software such as Minitab, JMP, or advanced Excel.
• Hands-on experience with root-cause analysis frameworks like 8D or Six Sigma.
