What you will do

• Drive open banking partnership strategy and execute partnerships with top financial institutions.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle from initial outreach to scaled growth.
• Negotiate strategic partnership agreements, navigating complex legal, compliance, and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships at key financial institutions to achieve long-term strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Risk.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or corporate development.
• Experience negotiating commercial deals with financial institutions, including bilateral data access or API agreements.
• Strong technical acumen to define requirements for scaling products through partnerships.
• Exceptional communication and influence skills for executive-level stakeholders.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and work autonomously in a fast-paced organization.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience working with banks, credit unions, or fintechs on data access, open banking, or API connectivity initiatives.
• Familiarity with open banking standards (FDX) and regulatory frameworks (CFPB 1033).
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder deal processes involving legal, compliance, and information security teams at large institutions.
