What you will do

• Own and resolve complex escalated issues handed over from frontline support.
• Perform deep-dive investigations using SQL to resolve transaction discrepancies, refund issues, and reconciliation gaps.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude to analyze logs, draft queries, and accelerate root-cause analysis.
• Trace issues across payment processors, ledgers, and help-desk platforms to identify system failures.
• Document root causes and create detailed bug reports for the Engineering team.
• Develop internal runbooks and knowledge-base articles to optimize the resolution of recurring issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical support or operations within software, fintech, or payments.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL (joins, filtering, and aggregation).
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) within a technical investigation workflow.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Must be based in Bogota, Colombia.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting instincts for diagnosing complex system issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zendesk, Jira, Grafana, or Loki.
• Familiarity with card processors, payment systems, or ledger/reconciliation concepts.
• Experience in SQL query optimization.
