Salary: $200,000 – $230,000 base.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers to foster growth and technical excellence.
• Champion AI-forward engineering practices, including critical review of AI-generated code and effective prompting.
• Drive execution of product initiatives in partnership with Product, Design, and Quality teams.
• Recruit and onboard top-tier engineering talent.
• Provide clarity on scope and timelines while ensuring delivery of secure, testable code.
• Collaborate with architects to evolve platform strategy and technical standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in management or technical leadership.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in San Francisco or NYC.
• Deep technical expertise in modern web development (React, Node.js, Ruby).
• Proven track record of scaling teams in a startup or growth-stage environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) and ability to coach others on their use.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering enterprise SaaS products.
• Background in B2B, FinTech, or PropTech domains.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
