What you will do

• Build, schedule, and maintain data pipelines for the partner business, ensuring quality and governance.
• Define and own partner metrics and views that serve as the source of truth for performance and health.
• Develop dashboards, Genie spaces, and internal applications for daily business operations.
• Create AI applications and agentic workflows to automate internal partner business processes.
• Build internal tools using partner products like Replit, Cursor, and Claude to provide feedback to AI/Apps partnerships.
• Act as an early adopter of Databricks features, providing feedback to product teams and creating reusable examples.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar hands-on AI role.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA.
• Production experience with Databricks data engineering and analytics tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for maintaining production data pipelines.
• Experience building analytics layers, including dashboards and semantic/metric definitions.
• Experience building LLM-powered AI applications or agentic workflows.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of Databricks features: Genie, AI/BI, metric views, Lakebase, and Agent Bricks.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks and modern analytics engineering.
• Experience defining business KPIs and metric frameworks.
• Open-source contributions or community work in the data and AI domain.
