Focus on governing scope/schedule/quality and acceptance, driving issues and change requests, and scaling rollout with wave-based governance plus organizational change management.

Location: Austin, TX; Remote (majority of work hours); ability to work on-site as needed

What you will do

• Embed with and manage the SaaS vendor (Octave) through discovery, configuration design, integration build, testing, and data migration for pilot projects.
• Own end-to-end vendor governance: scope, schedule, quality, commercial terms, and roadmap dependencies; ensure compliance with the statement of work.
• Review and sign off vendor configuration design and solution architecture against client capital projects controls, standards, and program objectives.
• Oversee integration design and build across scheduling (Primavera P6), finance/ERP (SAP), and reporting/analytics data feeds (e.g., data warehouse via API).
• Govern data migration approach and validate migrated data prior to stage-gate acceptance; assure test strategy and execution.
• Lead rollout scaling beyond the pilot (wave-based rollout, sequencing, resourcing, governance) and manage transition from vendor-led to owner-led implementation, including OCM.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in capital projects controls, enterprise systems implementation, or technical project management on large/complex programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site as needed.
• 12-month contract with possibility of extension.
