What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines for batch and real-time/streaming workloads.
• Develop scalable and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, Flink, or Beam.
• Implement real-time data solutions including CDC, streaming, and micro-batching.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver self-serve data products.
• Establish comprehensive data quality, validation, observability, and monitoring frameworks.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in Python and SQL for production-quality code.
• Experience with large-scale data warehouses such as Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Proven experience building real-time streaming systems with Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, or Spark Streaming.
• Proficiency in orchestration frameworks like Airflow and data modeling (dimensional, normalization).

Nice to have

• Experience with crypto, Web3 data, blockchain, or financial exchange systems.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience optimizing Databricks on AWS.
