What you will do

• Reverse-engineer and diagnose existing Python data scripts to understand and reimplement their logic.
• Port legacy logic into clean, well-structured, and maintainable C#/.NET code.
• Design and implement automated, event-driven data flows using AWS services.
• Build robust error handling, logging, and actionable alerting for unattended production jobs.
• Create comprehensive runbooks and documentation to ensure seamless handoff to the engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong C#/.NET development experience with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Ability to read and reverse-engineer Python logic from existing scripts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3) and PostgreSQL.
• Experience integrating APIs and moving data to MFT, SFTP, or S3 destinations.
• Proven ability to design event-driven processing and robust error-handling mechanisms.
• Must be able to scope and deliver on a fixed 2-month timeline.
