What you will do

• Design, build, and test robust data pipelines for collection, transformation, and aggregation on Azure and AWS.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python for data operations.
• Implement and optimize data lake architectures utilizing Databricks and Snowflake.
• Build data marts to support data science analysis and business intelligence tools.
• Enforce non-functional requirements, including security, privacy, and GDPR compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and document architectural decisions and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory for daily communication with international stakeholders.
• Must be based in Brazil.
• Hands-on experience implementing data lake solutions from scratch with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in Python for IaC and data engineering tasks.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms Azure (e.g., Azure Functions) and AWS.
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, security, and GDPR compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
• Knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks for data pipelines.
• Cloud certifications in Azure or AWS.
• Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka, EventHub, or Spark Streaming.
