Starlink Crisis Response Lead (Emergency Response)

Location: Bastrop, Texas, United States; onsite and not remote. Relocation is required if not local to the Bastrop area.

What you will do

• Monitor operational readiness metrics, identify risks and gaps, and lead process and system improvements for crisis response.
• Build cross-functional networks, improve account handoffs and information flow, and strengthen execution during emergencies.
• Analyze response performance, customer needs, risk trends, and operational bottlenecks using reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Develop external engagement frameworks, onboarding processes, and long-term relationships with response organizations.
• Coordinate with emergency response agencies and partners to understand operational requirements, technical constraints, and mission objectives.
• Translate field insights into improvements to Starlink products and services for disasters and emergencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/equivalency certificate with at least 3 years of professional emergency or crisis response experience.
• At least 2 years of consulting, project management, or crisis response coordination experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or external-facing role.
• At least 2 years of experience with data analysis, reporting, or performance metrics, including Excel modeling or dashboards.
• Experience with emergency response agencies, disaster response frameworks, interagency coordination, emergency communications, logistics, incident command systems, or large-scale disaster response.
• Must be eligible to work under U.S. ITAR requirements and must work onsite in or relocate to the Bastrop, Texas area.

Nice to have

• Experience with Starlink equipment and systems.
• Experience in emergency response, military, firefighting, law enforcement, or emergency management, including work outside the United States.
• Experience working with FEMA, state emergency management offices, the National Guard, fire departments, law enforcement, or private and nonprofit organizations.
• Experience building or improving internal processes, playbooks, or operational systems.
