What you will do

• Review and edit manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and digital materials for grammar, spelling, and clarity.
• Ensure strict alignment with house, client, and journal style guides.
• Provide actionable editorial feedback using digital markup tools and tracked changes.
• Verify scientific accuracy by checking data, references, and source materials against SOPs.
• Coordinate with scientific teams to resolve discrepancies and manage copyright permissions.
• Proof typeset copy and liaise with the studio for layout and resolution adjustments.

Requirements

• Life sciences degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in medical communications or with medical journals.
• Highest standards of English spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and EndNote.
• Experience with digital markup and professional editing tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agency environment.
