Publishing Assistant (Scientific Publishing): Supporting a portfolio of more than 50 scientific journals in genetics, biophysics, bioengineering, and biotechnology with an accent on journal administration, reporting, database tracking, and coordination with editors and internal teams. Focus on maintaining journal records, preparing agreements and reports, handling enquiries, and coordinating production, editorial, marketing, and conference deadlines.

What you will do
- Support the internal publishing team with non-strategic administration for a portfolio of more than 50 scientific journals.
- Prepare agreements, update internal systems, request payments, and maintain journal records.
- Prepare materials for reports, conferences, board meetings, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Handle enquiries from internal teams, external editors, authors, and customer services.
- Coordinate production, editorial office, marketing, conference, and other departmental deadlines.
- Use internal databases and software to track projects across the journal portfolio.
Requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and responsibly.
- Very strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability and interest to learn company-specific systems and workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Degree in biological science, clinical science, or a similar field.
