What you will do

• Administer, patch, and troubleshoot Linux servers across development, stage, and production environments.
• Develop and maintain standardized Linux server builds and lifecycle management.
• Execute operating system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure refreshes.
• Maintain and enhance Ansible AWX infrastructure and automation workflows.
• Collaborate with Central Tech teams on shared services and platform capabilities.
• Participate in technical planning and the TechOps on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (prioritizing Bellevue, WA area).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration.
• Experience with configuration management systems (preferably Salt) and cloud hosting (preferably AWS).
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with at least one programming language (C++, C#, Java, or Go).

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) systems, preferably Terraform.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization and maintenance (Docker, Kubernetes).
