Solution Designer - Senior (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead a scrum squad responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of payment applications from code to production (DevOps).
• Manage the product backlog, plan squad activities, and oversee release schedules and project timelines.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for developers.
• Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and operations to ensure service continuity and high software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to drive continuous system improvement.
• Participate in client workshops to align product delivery with payments domain requirements.

Requirements

• Proven track record (5+ years) as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
• Higher degree in IT, Management, or a related field.
• Ability to handle technical discussions involving legacy applications and interpret complex documentation.
• Strong communication and influencing skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience and knowledge in the payments domain.
• Familiarity with C or COBOL.
• Experience working in complex, multi-site, and multi-language environments.
