What you will do

• Manage tax compliance, structuring, and CIT/VAT returns for subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Poland.
• Support local finance teams with financial statements under IFRS and local accounting rules (HGB, UGB, Swiss GAAP).
• Coordinate group-level tax processes, including transfer pricing documentation, foreign tax credits, and local incentives.
• Provide strategic tax advice on CIT, VAT, and country-specific requirements to finance, legal, and operational teams.
• Lead tax audits and litigations, managing direct relationships with tax authorities in each jurisdiction.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess tax risks across the CEE perimeter to ensure proactive adaptation.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in international direct taxation within Big4, a law firm, or a multinational organization.
• University degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics.
• Professional proficiency in English and German is required.
• Expertise in international Group tax matters and proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• Must be based in or able to work in Frankfurt, Germany (Hybrid).
