Field Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build end-to-end data integrations to sync customer data with Scale's platform.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, API endpoints, and I/O schemas.
• Design and maintain technical playbooks, SDKs, and internal tools for long-term customer success.
• Resolve technical blockers and own escalations by partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Identify customer-specific feature requests in collaboration with Account Executives and Product Managers.
• Represent the company and engage with clients at major industry events.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Experience as a customer-facing engineer or in a hybrid pre/post-sales technical role.
• Hands-on development experience with Python, JavaScript, or other modern languages.
• Strong engineering background in computer science, mathematics, or a quantitative field.
• Proven project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to executives.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to move quickly in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI or working within classified environments.
• Prior experience as a technical go-to-market (GTM) resource.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Ansible.
