Software Tester (Defense)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design test plans and procedures to verify system requirements.
• Execute test procedures against the designated code baseline.
• Prepare detailed test reports and update tracking software with results.
• Collaborate closely with users to verify requirements and software acceptance.
• Generate technical documentation pertinent to software testing activities.
• Perform activities within NASIC adhering to security requirements for classified information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in QA/software testing.
• Proven experience developing test plans, procedures, and creating test reports.
• Proficiency with bug reporting and tracking tools such as JIRA.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience working under Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with automated test tools such as TestComplete, Google Test, or QF-Test.
• Scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation.
• ISTQB or ASTQB Foundation Certification in Software Testing.
