Test Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain functional, integration, system, regression, and performance test plans.
• Create detailed test scripts and scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform both manual and automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution in collaboration with development teams.
• Support Configuration and Integration Testing (CIT) and participate in design and readiness reviews.
• Maintain quality metrics, traceability records, and testing documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance within enterprise IT environments.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or SAFe.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM, or Selenium.
• ISTQB Foundation Level or Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification.
• Background supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations.
