What you will do

• Use AI-driven VRP platforms and agents to match loads and maximize regional revenue.
• Forecast volume spikes and seasonal trends to maintain network equilibrium and identify regional imbalances.
• Plan precision routing based on HOS regulations and driver constraints to eliminate deadhead miles.
• Source and negotiate with third-party carriers to supplement the internal fleet.
• Manage TMS (Qargo) data integrity and report on KPIs like Operating Ratio and Revenue per Mile.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in regional planning, freight brokerage, or carrier operations optimization.
• Proficiency with modern TMS (Qargo preferred) and algorithmic routing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations and HOS regulations.
• Proven ability in freight pricing and market negotiation.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Chicago (Hybrid/Onsite).
