Supply Chain Analyst III (Global Logistics & Trade)

Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale or Burlingame, California, United States

Salary: $55–$60 per hour on W2

hirify.global is engaging a supply chain and logistics professional for a contract assignment supporting a robotics hardware program.

What you will do

• Own international movement of robotics hardware from purchase order through transit, customs clearance, inter-site transfer, and final delivery to laboratories.
• Coordinate import/export documentation, HTS classification, country-of-origin analysis, duty and tariff exposure, customs brokers, and clearance exceptions.
• Replace manual shipment tracking with automated workflows, dashboards, alerting, AI-assisted tooling, and system integrations.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across Procurement, Trade Compliance, Hardware Engineering, Program Management, Finance, laboratory operations, forwarders, brokers, and contract manufacturers.
• Manage purchase-order delivery commitments, partner performance, new logistics-partner onboarding, routing design, and new-site or new-region launches.
• Build reporting for shipment health, landed cost, clearance performance, project milestones, disruption risks, and contingency planning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in global logistics, international trade, or supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience with cross-border shipping, freight forwarders, customs brokers, multi-region delivery, and international trade documentation.
• Working knowledge of HTS classification, country of origin, duties, tariffs, and import/export processes.
• Experience automating or digitizing operational workflows using AI tooling, scripting, dashboards, or system integrations.
• Cross-functional program management experience across engineering, procurement, trade, and external partners.
• Experience in hardware, robotics, or manufacturing logistics, plus strong reporting, data, executive communication, and purchase-order workflow skills.

Nice to have

• Dangerous goods or lithium battery shipping experience and certification.
• Experience with Oracle, GTM, Salesforce, or SQL.
• Asia-to-US supply chain experience.
• New-site, new-region, or new-lane launch experience.
