What you will do

• Review and edit pre-bills based on attorney requests and execute preparatory tasks for electronic submission.
• Compile and bill attorney and paralegal hours according to specific client guidelines.
• Submit electronic bills via billing websites and resolve any submission issues.
• Research, troubleshoot, and respond to billing inquiries and exceptions.
• Ensure accuracy of rates, billing frequency, and cost management per client expectations.
• Collaborate with the Billing Manager and other specialists on billing projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of billing experience at a professional services firm, with legal billing experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with legal billing software, preferably Elite 3E.
• Experience with third-party administrative systems like eBilling Hub.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize high-volume workloads.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
