TL;DR

Staff, Data Product Manager (Data Products): Lead the strategy, development roadmap, and lifecycle of data products and platforms with an accent on turning fragmented raw data into structured, usable assets for decision-making, automation, and personalization. Focus on bridging data engineering/science/analytics with business stakeholders while ensuring scalability, reliability, governance, and measurable adoption.

Location: Remote (US) — not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA

Salary: $155,520 - $194,400 (Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, or Washington D.C.)

What you will do

  • Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products (dashboards, data platforms, model features/enhancements).
  • Translate business needs into data solutions by partnering with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Write product requirements and user stories focused on data access, usability, performance, and quality.
  • Prioritize data initiatives by business impact, technical feasibility, and data availability.
  • Ensure data governance, privacy, and compliance practices are followed.
  • Define success metrics, monitor data quality/reliability and user adoption, and report effectiveness and improvement areas.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or analytics focused on data products, analytics platforms, or data infrastructure (preference for GTM/sales analytics in a SaaS environment).
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data pipelines, and analytics/BI tools (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Tableau).
  • SQL proficiency and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
  • Experience working with data teams (engineering, analytics, and data science).
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and data security standards.
  • Strong communication/collaboration and agile product development experience; strong project management and analytical problem-solving skills.
