What you will do

• Lead end-to-end investigations into suspected account takeover incidents.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during critical account recovery events.
• Coordinate containment and recovery efforts across Fraud, Product, Engineering, and Legal teams.
• Develop and improve investigation playbooks and operational workflows.
• Identify detection gaps and recommend improvements to authentication and security features.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to training materials and investigative best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct experience investigating ATO fraud in a bank, fintech, or financial services organization.
• Deep expertise in attacker tactics, authentication systems, and identity verification.
• Experience identifying common fraud typologies like wire, ACH, and check fraud.
• Strong ability to lead complex, ambiguous investigations under pressure.
• Exceptional customer-facing communication skills with experience managing high-impact incidents.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
