TL;DR
Internal Audit Analyst (Finance): Executing financial crime compliance audits end-to-end with an accent on scoping, risk assessment, and remediation validation. What you will do
- Execute end-to-end financial crime compliance audits, including scoping, risk and control assessments, and control testing.
- Draft clear, complete, and actionable workpapers and audit reports.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify control gaps and evaluate exception severity based on regulatory exposure.
- Develop risk-based recommendations and validate the remediation of prior audit findings through to closure.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations across all operating jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in audit, compliance testing, or risk management within financial services.
- Proven ability to classify findings by severity based on likelihood, impact, and regulatory exposure.
- Ability to translate identified exceptions into proportionate conclusions and recommendations.
- Familiarity with data analysis techniques, with a preference for SQL.
- Experience managing multiple audit workstreams in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
- Responsible use of generative AI to drive improvements in workflow efficiency and quality.
