What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of a scalable and efficient analytical data platform.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from various sources.
• Develop and optimize data models for analytical use cases, ensuring consistency and accessibility.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance policies.
• Partner with data scientists and engineers to deliver data-driven insights.
• Mentor and guide data engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on analytical platforms
• Strong proficiency in SQL and dimensional data modeling
• Experience with cloud data warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift)
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools like Dagster, Airflow, or dbt
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
