What you will do

• Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Analytics Engineers, providing coaching and career development.
• Define and execute the roadmap for analytics engineering, data modeling, semantic layers, and infrastructure.
• Drive adoption of best practices including testing, documentation, version control, CI/CD, and code review.
• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Executive leadership to establish company-wide metric definitions.
• Own data quality initiatives, observability, lineage, and governance across the analytics ecosystem.
• Guide architectural decisions for the analytics stack and evaluate new technologies to ensure scalability.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing high-performing technical teams.
• Deep expertise with SQL and modern analytics engineering practices.
• Experience building platforms using dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
