What you will do

• Perform clinical molecular tests in strict compliance with CAP, NY, and CLIA regulations.
• Troubleshoot assay performance and maintain critical laboratory equipment.
• Conduct quality control (QC) checks and promptly report deviations.
• Manage laboratory stock levels and ensure supplies are replenished.
• Assist in training new employees and execute other essential laboratory duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or medical technology with 2-4 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Houston, TX.

Nice to have

• MB(ASCP) or MT(ASCP) certification.
• Expert knowledge in NGS, LIMS, Library Prep, and Sequencing QC.
• Experience with Instrument Operation, Run Setup, and Batch Processing.
