What you will do

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Histology department.
• Train, mentor, and directly manage laboratory personnel.
• Monitor workflow and manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate assay coverage.
• Ensure accurate performance of laboratory tests and timely reporting of results.
• Maintain Quality Assurance records and ensure equipment maintenance through Quality Control.
• Handle administrative duties, including payroll and personnel file management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Active ASCP Board of Certification (HT(ASCP) or HLT(ASCP)).
• 4+ years of histology laboratory experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations.
• Must be based in the United States.
