What you will do

• Collaborate on the architecture, design, and development of scalable and highly available backend services.
• Solve complex infrastructure problems and provide post-release support for core platform components.
• Enhance DevOps practices and CI/CD automation to streamline application development and deployment.
• Drive technology design and articulate architecture solutions to product owners and leadership.
• Conduct post-mortems to analyze and prevent repeat system failures.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to solve concrete business problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend programming experience, with strong preference for Go.
• 2+ years of experience with MySQL, Redis, and non-relational data storage.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, database schema design, and communication protocols.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and modern CI/CD tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP.
• Experience with full-stack observability tools like New Relic.
