What you will do

• Lead federal and local tax compliance, including ISR, IVA, payroll taxes, and CFDI requirements.
• Serve as the primary internal contact for SAT and other fiscal authorities.
• Lead tax audits, investigations, disputes, and tax controversy matters.
• Investigate and remediate historical tax issues and control gaps.
• Develop and implement tax policies, controls, and review procedures.
• Manage external tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel.

Requirements

• Substantial experience managing Mexican tax compliance.
• Deep knowledge of ISR, IVA, payroll taxes, and CFDI requirements.
• Proven experience managing tax audits, investigations, and disputes with SAT.
• Spanish: C1+ required.
• English: B2+ required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax Law, Law, or Finance.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Big Four firm or recognized tax advisory firm.
• Experience in financial services, SOFOMs, or SOFIPOs.
• Experience with ERPs, tax platforms, and automation tools.
