What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations of physical facilities, including offices, production areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Coordinate facility build-outs, layout planning, expansions, and equipment installations.
• Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and other critical building systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire codes, environmental regulations, and local building standards.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols on the production floor and conduct hazard training.
• Manage vendor relationships, facility budgets, and preventative maintenance schedules.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR/EAR requirements.
• At least 2 years of experience managing facilities or EHS in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing contractors, maintenance teams, and facility upgrade projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial safety requirements, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in facility management software, vendor coordination, and budget planning.
• Ability to walk throughout large indoor and outdoor facilities and lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice to have

• Background in boat building, fiberglass, or composites fabrication.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and production space optimization.
• Certifications: OSHA 30, Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or Certified Facility Manager (CFM).
