What you will do

• Own the assessment content strategy and roadmap in partnership with product leadership.
• Manage and coach a team of Assessment Content Designers and Content Contributors.
• Drive execution of production plans, including scoping projects and managing freelance/vendor relationships.
• Establish and maintain a robust quality framework across all content domains.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to train and evaluate AI models for content generation.
• Standardize content processes, metadata tagging, and accessibility across teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 8+ years of experience in assessment content development at commercial scale.
• 2+ years of experience in a people-management role.
• Expert understanding of educational assessment design, measurement principles, and Depth of Knowledge (DOK).
• Fluency in multi-subject standards including CCSS and NGSS.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering against aggressive timelines.
• Excellent communication skills for bridging content, product, and engineering audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering on AI/ML-assisted content generation.
• Classroom teaching experience in K-12 content areas.
• Familiarity with QTI standards or content authoring tools.
• Experience with Pendo, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, or Heap.
