What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex renewable energy assets to ensure optimal financial performance.
• Hold P&L responsibility, including annual budget preparation and continuous variance tracking.
• Act as the Owner’s Representative for multiple project portfolios within AES Clean Energy.
• Ensure strict compliance with Power Purchase Agreements, Hedge Agreements, and regulatory agencies such as EIA, CEC, and FERC.
• Collaborate with origination, finance, and construction teams to ensure smooth project transitions into commercial operation.
• Maintain positive working relationships with state authorities, landowners, and investor partners.

Requirements

• Must be based in Louisville, CO.
• 2+ years of relevant energy industry experience or asset management background.
• BA/BS degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or other quantitative fields.
• Strong understanding of project finance, legal contracts, and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% between offices and project sites.
