Salary: $191,000–$293,000

What you will do

• Provide practical legal advice on product-related issues throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Serve as a legal advisor on AI matters, including policy, liability, and risk assessments.
• Ensure product compliance with global privacy laws, data security, and trade regulations.
• Negotiate inbound and outbound license agreements and participate in open-source reviews.
• Advise on privacy-by-design principles and support incident response programs.
• Contribute to IP strategy, including patent and trademark portfolio management.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited institution and active state bar membership.
• At least 5 years of relevant legal experience in software or SaaS technology.
• Familiarity with AI legal considerations and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act).
• Working knowledge of global privacy laws and their impact on software development.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build consensus within a legal team.
