What you will do

• Execute experiments and implement research plans under close guidance using established protocols.
• Assist in data analysis and the preparation of experimental reports and presentations.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and electronic inventory databases.
• Process, aliquot, vial, and label laboratory materials.
• Monitor and report on the infrastructure of specific laboratory or functional areas.
• Perform work in a laboratory environment involving chemical reagents and Biosafety Level 2 materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field is required.
• Must be able to work onsite in Gaithersburg, MD.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify used).
• Strong knowledge of scientific fundamentals and analytical background.
• Ability to follow protocols and SOPs with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Hands-on laboratory or industry experience.
