What you will do

• Design and optimize high-throughput protein purification workflows using AKTA chromatography systems.
• Perform LC-MS analyses to confirm protein identity, purity, and post-translational modifications.
• Develop and validate bioassays to assess protein function, stability, and quality.
• Partner with automation engineers to integrate purification and analytical workflows into automated workcells.
• Collaborate with computational scientists to support data analysis pipelines and predictive modeling.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, documentation, and reproducibility.

Requirements

• MS in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology (4+ years experience) or PhD (0-2 years experience).
• Hands-on experience operating AKTA chromatography systems for diverse protein classes.
• Proficiency in LC-MS techniques including intact mass analysis, peptide mapping, and PTM identification.
• Familiarity with bioassay development such as ELISA, AlphaLisa, SPR, or BLI.
• Strong laboratory data analysis skills and experience with digital recordkeeping tools like Benchling.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with laboratory automation platforms and high-throughput screening.
• Familiarity with CE-SDS, SEC-MALS, or DSF characterization techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python or R.
