What you will do

• Independently perform and troubleshoot molecular biology and cell biology experiments.
• Conduct assays including DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, qPCR, cloning, and plasmid preparation.
• Culture and manipulate primary human immune cells and mammalian cell lines for translational studies.
• Optimize and execute single-cell sequencing workflows, from sample preparation to quality control.
• Perform cell engineering using CRISPR-based perturbation and delivery methods.
• Analyze experimental data and collaborate with project teams to propose scientific interpretations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with nucleic acid extraction, RT-PCR, qPCR, and assay troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in primary cell culture, flow cytometry, and immune phenotyping.
• Experience with genome editing technologies, specifically CRISPR and viral/non-viral delivery.
• Familiarity with single-cell sequencing library construction and workflow optimization.
• Must be able to work on-site in South San Francisco, CA.
