Location: Must be based in CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NV, NY, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WA. Working hours: 9 am-5 pm PST.

What you will do

• Perform period-end close procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
• Ensure general ledger accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Prepare balance sheet and Profit and Loss statement variance analysis for financial reporting.
• Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support annual audit preparations.
• Manage reconciliation between the Accounting Services platform and the accounting system.

Requirements

• Must be based in one of the following states: CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NJ, NV, NY, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WA.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
