Database Developer (iGaming)

Location: Fully remote within the Philippines; must have 6-hour daily overlap with AEST/AEDT

What you will do

• Design and evolve relational schemas, including tables, indexes, constraints, and relationships.
• Develop and optimize high-performance SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Build and maintain OLAP cube-based data models, including dimensions, hierarchies, and measures.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance issues involving locking, contention, and inefficient joins.
• Implement structural improvements such as partitioning and advanced indexing strategies.
• Mentor team members on SQL best practices, schema design, and performance techniques.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in database engineering, SQL development, or backend engineering.
• Deep expertise in MS-SQL, including execution plan analysis and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of relational data modeling and schema design principles.
• Experience building ETL/ELT components.
• Must be based in the Philippines.
• Must provide at least 6 hours of daily overlap with AEST/AEDT time zones.
