What you will do

• Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with product and commercial teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Optimize the microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability.
• Drive containerization and cloud migration strategies forward.
• Lead architectural discussions and proactively identify areas for technical improvement.
• Participate in incident resolution and the team’s on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Malaga, Spain.
• Solid experience with C# and modern .NET versions.
• Strong background in relational or document databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct effective code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of actor-based systems like Orleans.
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk).
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design and event sourcing.
