TL;DR
Software Engineer (Oracle/PLSQL): Building data extraction pipelines and automated client-facing documents for financial and operational data with an accent on PL/SQL development, ETL processes, data archiving, and output management. Focus on optimizing Oracle database performance, integrating internal and external systems, and ensuring accurate, compliant, and localized client communications.
Location: Hybrid role based at the MNL office, 16th Floor, AIA Tower, 8767 Paseo de Roxas, 1226 Makati City, Philippines

What you will do
- Design and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and complex queries for data archiving, output management, and system integration.
- Develop data archiving strategies and ETL processes for migration, transformation, storage optimization, and integration.
- Build and maintain ACP-based data extraction pipelines for structured and unstructured internal data.
- Automate the generation of advice, reports, and layout statements using document generation and templating technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, client service teams, and technical stakeholders to define output requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database, ETL, extraction, and output issues while improving performance, standards, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in software engineering, database development, or data integration, focused on data extraction, document generation, or output management.
- Strong PL/SQL skills and extensive knowledge of Oracle Database, database design, data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Experience with database archiving, data retention, output management, system integration, and ETL processes.
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or C#; familiarity with Git or Bitbucket.
- Experience with PDF, HTML, XML, document generation, templating, analytical troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with ACP or similar data extraction and reporting frameworks.
- Experience with Client Communication Management platforms such as Quadient Inspire, Assentis CCM, or CSF.
- Knowledge of financial services, banking operations, client or regulatory reporting, and banking products.
- Familiarity with OpenShift, cloud-native platforms, containerized environments, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Exposure to Agile development and DevOps practices.
