What you will do

• Design and develop software functionality based on established coding standards and patterns.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle and contribute to team code reviews.
• Build and run services hosted both on-premises and in the cloud within an agile environment.
• Review and refactor existing code to improve platform robustness, performance, and operability.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or a related scientific/engineering field.
• 2+ years of software development experience using Java.
• 2+ years of experience working in agile teams.
• Experience developing RESTful applications with Spring Boot or related frameworks.
• Proficiency with relational (SQL, DDL, ACID) and non-relational databases.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments and excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience developing in a microservices architecture using Docker containers.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
