What you will do

• Manage daily inbound deliveries from carriers, vendors, and couriers.
• Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and documentation before routing.
• Communicate delivery arrivals and exceptions to lab and operations teams in real time.
• Coordinate large or scheduled deliveries with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area in line with EH&S standards.
• Support the onboarding of dock operations at new campus buildings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in receiving, shipping, or loading dock operations.
• Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA, 40 hours per week.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform sustained physical activity.
• Working knowledge of safe material handling and dock equipment.
• Proficiency with inventory tracking systems and basic spreadsheets.
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a life sciences, biotech, or pharma environment.
• Familiarity with handling temperature-sensitive or hazardous shipments.
• IATA or DOT certification for hazardous materials.
• Forklift certification.
