TL;DR
Senior IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365): Owning and improving core infrastructure, endpoint management, business applications, and security across a growing employee-facing IT environment with an accent on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, networking, and automation. Focus on resolving complex third-line incidents, building PowerShell and workflow automations, designing security policies, and delivering cloud system integrations and migrations.
Location: Hybrid, with office attendance at the HQ in Leicestershire or the London, Holborn office; fully remote working is not available.

What you will do
- Own and maintain infrastructure, endpoint management systems, business applications, and core IT services.
- Administer and optimise Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID.
- Build PowerShell and workflow automations with tools such as N8N and Power Automate.
- Lead the resolution of complex third-line technical issues and provide technical support to mid-level engineers.
- Design and implement security policies, coordinate audits, and maintain alignment with organisational and industry standards.
- Deliver IT projects including cloud service adoption, system migrations, upgrades, integrations, and SaaS standardisation.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in IT systems engineering across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, complex networking, and endpoint management.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Cloudflare Zero Trust, Windows Autopilot, and Apple ADE.
- Production scripting and automation experience with PowerShell and/or Python, N8N, or Power Automate.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, encryption, data integrity, security policies, and third-line troubleshooting.
- Experience in employee-facing IT, service management, change control, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, or Cyber Essentials Plus is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jamf or Kandji MDM.
- Administration experience with Atlassian Jira and Jira Service Management.
- Experience building N8N automations.
