Salary: €30,000 - €40,000 EUR (Malta range)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end onboarding and due diligence for individual clients, ensuring adherence to KYC and risk management best practices.
• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform screening for Sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and Adverse Media, resolving potential matches or alerts.
• Make risk-based decisions on customer applications and manage escalations appropriately.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready customer records and KYC documentation.
• Identify and suggest improvements to onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in KYC onboarding within payments, fintech, banking, or foreign exchange (FX) industry.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with onboarding requirements across multiple jurisdictions, particularly the EU and US.
• Strong understanding of KYC, AML, CDD, and EDD requirements for individual customers.
• Hands-on experience using Sumsub or similar CRM/case management tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment meeting strict SLAs.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Know Your Business (KYB) onboarding, including UBO identification and corporate ownership structures.
